About the Role:
Elderly Savior Homecare is actively hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
As a CHHA, you will play a vital role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
Open Cases Available In:
- Morris County (Randolph)
- Essex County.
- Passaic County.
- Union County.
- Hudson County.
- Middlesex County.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Take and record vital signs as directed.
- Assist with medication reminders (as permitted)
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
- Participate in ongoing in-service training.
Requirements:
- Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification – New Jersey.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CPR certification (preferred or required based on case).
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, or behavioral challenges.
- Valid driver’s license, current registration, and insurance (if applicable).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, professional, and compassionate.
